High Oil Content Slack Wax

High Oil Content Slack Wax is a by-product that is obtained from the refining process of oil or paraffin. This product is mainly produced after various stages of petroleum refining and sedimentation processes. In this process, excess oils are separated from paraffin, resulting in slack wax with a high oil content (usually ranging from 30% to 50%).

Production Process:

  1. Oil Extraction from Wax: High oil content slack wax is typically produced during the refining process of paraffin or wax extraction from crude oil. Heat and pressure are applied to separate the oil from the wax.
  2. Sedimentation: In some cases, sedimentation processes under specific temperature and pressure conditions are used to separate the oil from the paraffin.
  3. Purification: Finally, this wax undergoes additional purification or refining steps to improve its quality.

Applications:

  1. Candle Industry: High oil content slack wax is commonly used as a raw material for candle production.
  2. Cosmetic and Personal Care Industry: It is used in the formulation of cosmetic products such as creams and lotions to improve moisturizing and emollient properties.
  3. Plastic Industry: It is used as an additive in the plastic industry to enhance flexibility and resistance properties.
  4. Pharmaceutical Industry: In some capsule and other pharmaceutical formulations, it is used to aid in better breakdown and absorption.
  5. Lubricant Industry: It is used in the production of lubricants and industrial oils, especially in cases where oils with specific viscosity and properties are needed.

We are capable of supplying this product with the specifications required by our customers.
